Handwriting Mastery

For children who want to improve their handwriting

Our team recognise that handwriting is an important skill for successful engagement in learning at school. When these skills are under-developed, it can impact confidence and willingness to complete schoolwork.

Our Handwriting Mastery program aims to support your child to develop important foundational skills to increase handwriting fluency, and includes a pre- and post- evaluation, as well as a customised home program for continued practice. Our therapy team will promote learning through fun, engaging activities that allow for natural opportunities to develop the foundational cognitive-motor skills required for more efficient and fluent handwriting.

This group program is aimed at children currently in Years 4-8 at school. If you believe your child may benefit from this program and they are younger/older, please speak to your therapist.

Group numbers are limited to ensure each child is supported to achieve success within the group setting and is 4.5 hours of face to face time, plus a home program for your child to keep practising at home. We aim to keep the consistency for all children within the group and for that reason if you are unable to attend one of the days, you will need to speak with our team directly, before we can confirm your child’s place in the group.

• Starting at 9am each day

• Finishing at 10:30am Tuesday/Thursday & 10am Wednesday
