For young people growing their comfort zone…
Our Explorers program will encourage your child to participate in a range of activities that grow their comfort zones (socially, mentally and/or physically) and celebrate personal achievements. The activities, suggested by past-Explorers and chosen by our Team, offer a range of opportunities to explore new skills, practice self-agency and grow self-esteem within an environment that promotes positive social interactions and celebration of shared success.
Our upcoming group in April 2025 has been designed as a series of different activities spread across the school holidays - how many events you attend is up to you!
You may opt to attend 1 event to give your child an opportunity to explore a new skill or you may wish to sign up for all the events for added intensity!
DAY 1 - Monday 14th April
What: Centennial Parklands & Outdoor Adventure
We will be exploring the outdoors and public amenities available at the incredible Centennial Parklands. There will be plenty of opportunities to pause, connect and enjoy spending time in nature together. You might like to climb a tree, take a walk or explore the epic bamboo forest in the Ian Potter Wild playground.
We will travel together by train and bus, giving our Explorers the opportunity to practice planning and mapping public transport connections across different service networks.
Time: 9:30am-4:30pm
Drop off & Pick Up at Early Links Clinic (18 President Avenue CARINGBAH)
Program Cost: $472 + additional money on Opal Card for public transport (Bus & Train).
DAY 2 - Tuesday 15th March
What: Create & Make
With so many creative Explorers among our group, we have decided to offer a dedicated event for you to expand and share your creativity with others. You will have access to a variety of art supplies and craft materials to bring your creative ideas to life. Design and create unique projects at your own pace or work on a collaborative project with a friend.
Time: 1:30pm - 4:30pm
Location: Early Links Clinic (18 President Avenue CARINGBAH)
Program Cost: $220
DAY 3 - Wednesday 23rd April
What: Games Day
Our highly popular Games Day offers opportunities for social collaboration, as well as friendly competition, in a range of board/card games, as well as more physical games in our clinic.
Bring your favourite game to challenge a friend (or a grown up), get creative and ‘invent-your-own’ game to share or just come along and join in the fun!
Time: 1:30pm-4:30pm

Program Cost: $220
To confirm your child’s place at any of our Explorers events, please complete the sign up form below by Friday 28th March 2025. Places are strictly limited to ensure each child receives adequate support to maximise their individual success within group activities. If capacity is reached, bookings will be closed and you will be notified by email to choose an alternative activity.
Please speak to our Team if you are not sure which activities will best suit your child’s goals and interests.
*We have tried to keep out of pocket costs to families low - If any out-of-pocket costs associated with activities is prohibitive to your child attending, please speak to our leadership team for options.
